David Laner

Professor of Resource Management and Waste Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering.

David Laner’s methodological focus lies in the areas of material flow analysis and life cycle assessment, which he uses to establish clean and resource-efficient material cycles. He has been project manager at the Research Department for Waste Management and Resource Management of the Vienna University of Technology, where he led national and international research projects in connection with the analysis, evaluation and design of waste and resource systems.
